Croatia Wedding & Event Photographer

Hi! I'm Clive, originally from the UK, but now living in beautiful Croatia.

Firstly, thanks for stopping by, it's great to have you here. I am a sunset seeking, animal loving, cat dad who's passion in life is to capture images that will last a lifetime.

So, how did I get here? Well after getting engaged and then married in Dubrovnik myself, my Croatian wife and I finally upped sticks and moved here from London in 2019.

We split our time between Dubrovnik and Bol, on the island of Brac where we share our house with 6 rescue cats and a dog.

With a passion for street photography, I find that the ability to watch and observe, whilst waiting for the right moment, has carried through strongly to my work as a professional wedding photographer in Croatia.

I photograph emotions…..ok, but what the heck does that really mean ??

If you've been looking for a wedding photographer for more than 10minutes, I'm sure you've seen a statement like, 'beautiful photographs for couples that don't like to pose' or something very similar to it on more than one website.

If you pose for a photo, you are showing the world the image of yourself that you want the world to see, not the real you.

I guarantee that in years to come, the images that you will want to look at and those that will resonate with you the most deeply, are the ones that aren't posed, but the candid, unguarded images, the ones with the belly laughs, the tears, the vulnerability, the love.

Remember, these images are for YOU. Your friends aren't going to want to look at your wedding photos in 5 years time, but you will. Yes, you can have a photo standing next to your gran, but one of her wiping away a tear or strutting the funky chicken at 1am will make you cry and laugh and probably cry again for years to come.

These are the images that I want to capture for you on your wedding day. Imaged you will want keep, print, treasure and look at for years to come. The real you, the real day.

So, for me, your wedding day isn’t about how I can pose you, it’s about being there alongside you and your loved ones, to capture all the events and emotions in as they happen, in as relaxed way as possible.

So, you've decided to get married in Croatia,

welcome to the club. With sparkling Adriatic waters, scenic coastal villages and gorgeous natural light – destination wedding locations don't get much better.

Our story starts back in 2001 when I proposed to my now wife, Klaudi in Dubrovnik on the terrace of the Excelsior Hotel. We tied the knot in Dubrovnik the following summer, getting married in Sv. Vlaho and then after a short boat ride (and many many steps), we partied the night away in Fort Lovrijenac, just outside the old town walls. There are many more excellent venues available across Croatia now, but Dubrovnik will always hold special memories for me.

We engaged a local wedding planner to make sure the day ran smoothly and I would suggest that still remains a key requirement. They can also advise on what paperwork you need to complete and when. However I'm always available should you want to sanity check anything, even if it's not photography related. For more information and thoughts on getting married in Croatia, follow the link below.
